TAB Projects

The Western Region TAB Program is currently working on two community-based projects while providing short term assistance to a variety of brownfield communities throughout EPA regions 9 & 10.

Organization or Project: Oregon DEQ Brownfields Program

Description: TAB is helping to plan the 2005 Oregon Brownfields Conference to be held in late summer. TAB personnel will moderate the sessions on Brownfields Basics and Meaningful Community Involvement.


Organization or Project: St. Helens Retired and Senior Volunteer Program

Description: The St. Helens RSVP program has worked with the Oregon DEQ on building a brownfields inventory for their community. TAB has been assisting the RSVPgroup in their efforts to take two sites forward in the process towards redevelopment. Activities have been focused on raising community involvement and awareness.
TAB has helped desgn and plan an open house showcasing one property for developers, regulators, environmental consultants and other interested parties to be held in May 2005.
